For my Mom, I made this love notes pocket out of a plain paperbag. I absolutely love to recycle everyday items and have it turn out so darling. Inside each envelope is a special message to my mom from myself, each of my girls as well as my husband. She was completely surprised and even shed a few tears. Such an easy and creative project, but I can not take credit for the idea. Unfortunately I can not remember the name of the blog where the inspiration came from. I used a lot of my scraps for this project: DCWV and Melissa Frances papers, doilies, buttons, bakers twine, ribbon, chipboard cutouts, glitter glue, felt flowers, paper flowers, crepe paper, cupcake liners, tags, stamped images, pearls, and so much more. It was so much fun to do!
Here is a close up of the front. I wrapped some crepe paper around the glittered frame for that little extra something...just love those touches!!
And here are the envelopes stuffed with all the "love notes". I used vintage printed images and tied them up with bakers twine and a vintage button. They just get tucked inside the pockets of the paperbag for presentation.
